Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Household One mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Household One, LLC ("Household One," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Household One is a family-focused application designed to help parents and caregivers:
- Track baby care activities (feeding, sleep, diapers, pumping)
- Coordinate household tasks and projects
- Manage shared calendars and events
- Track household inventory and supplies
- Share information across authorized family members
The Service is provided for organizational and informational purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are legally able to enter into these Terms
- Any information you provide is accurate and up to date
- You are using the Service only for lawful purposes
3. Accounts and Security
A. Account Creation
To use the Service, you must create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security breach
B. Passwords
- Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing practices
- We are not responsible for account access caused by compromised credentials due to your actions or omissions
4. Family Accounts and Shared Access
Household One operates on a family-shared data model.
- Each account is associated with a single family
- Invited family members may view and modify shared data
- You are responsible for whom you invite and what access they receive
We are not responsible for disputes between family members or misuse of shared access.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
A. Subscription Access
Access to the Service requires an active subscription.
- Subscriptions may include trial periods
- Pricing and features may vary by platform
B. Billing Platforms
Subscriptions are processed through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
We do not process or store payment card details.
C. Renewals and Cancellations
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the platform
- You must manage cancellations via Apple or Google account settings
- We cannot cancel or refund subscriptions on your behalf unless required by law
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service
- Interfere with the Service's security or availability
- Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass safeguards
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. User Content
A. Your Content
You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service ("User Content").
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store, process, and display User Content
- Share User Content with authorized family members
- Use User Content to operate, improve, and support the Service
B. Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of User Content
- Ensuring you have the right to share it
- Any consequences arising from its use or sharing
8. Medical Disclaimer
Household One does not provide medical advice.
- The Service is intended for tracking and organizational purposes only
- It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding medical concerns
Do not rely on the Service for medical decision-making.
9. Availability and Changes
We may:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Introduce new features or restrictions
- Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons
We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your subscription expires or is canceled
- Required by law or platform policy
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account.
11. Intellectual Property
All Service content, software, and branding (excluding User Content) are owned by Household One or its licensors.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Service
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Create derivative works based on the Service
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We disclaim all warranties, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of data
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Household One shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the prior 12 months
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Household One from any claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
- The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent changes
- Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms
